The project All Inverse takes a playful approach to AI in art: reversing the roles. Instead of trying to find the right prompt to achieve a desired result, I asked GPTs to give me instructions for images, which I then executed manually. Next, I uploaded the images and asked for feedback, thereby entering into a dialogue with the AI.
Another part of the project was a thorough research on the foundations of AI that went as far as working in training AI models. My goal was to not only utilise the technical possibilities offered by the use of artificial intelligence for the creation of art, but also to engage with the “medium” AI on a meta-level.
The results can be seen as on Vimeo and Instagram
Here you can download my essay "Kunst im Zeitalter der künstlichen Intelligenz" (German), which I wrote as a case study, summing up my experiences working with AI.
This project was supported by the Austrian Kulturministerium.
